The JYINS PWM Solar Charge Controller for Wind Systems is a specialized hybrid charge controller designed for combined solar PV and wind turbine renewable energy systems. It simultaneously manages solar panel input via PWM regulation and wind turbine input through a built-in dump load controller, protecting batteries from overcharge while maximizing renewable energy harvest. Supporting 12V/24V systems with up to 30A solar and 600W wind input, it's the ideal single-controller solution for off-grid hybrid renewable installations.

Q: What wind turbines are compatible?
A: Most 3-phase AC permanent magnet wind turbines rated 100W-600W. The controller accepts the raw 3-phase AC output and converts/regulates it for battery charging.
Q: Do I need a separate dump load resistor?
A: Yes, an external dump load resistor (rated for your turbine's power) is required. The controller's PWM driver manages power dissipation through this resistor when batteries are full.
Q: Can I use this with just solar or just wind?
A: Yes, the controller works with solar only, wind only, or both simultaneously. Unused inputs simply remain idle.
Q: How does the brake function work?
A: The controller shorts the wind turbine's 3-phase output through a braking resistor, slowing or stopping the turbine. Manual brake via switch or automatic activation on overspeed/high battery voltage.
